An Advanced Diploma of Naturopathy is being prepared

for registration to be available later this year.

We offer teaching in the art and science of natural medicine and the principles of healing on wider levels of human existence. The course will include units for self-development and self-actualisation. These subjects provide each student with the ability to create love and achieve excellence as a healer or within any endeavour they choose.

 Our courses are designed to develop within each student high levels of psychological clarity, emotional stability, mental focus, purity of heart, the ability to sense and restore harmony, a willingness to be of service and to play a role in the restoration of harmony and balance for the planet.

 The Holistic Wellness Institute is in the process of preparing an Advanced Diploma of Naturopathy for registration to be available later this year.

 This course will give a strong base in the medical sciences including Anatomy, Physiology, Pathology, naturopathic modalities and understanding the principles that create health and the healing process.

The Foundations of Health and Healing include the Philosophy of Naturopathy and the principles of:

•  “Docere” ( Doctor as teacher)
• Vis Medicatrix Naturae (the healing power of nature, nature’s tendency to heal itself, to restore harmony)
• Primum Non Nocere ( first do no harm).

 These principles are incorporated throughout the course structure.

 As students come to an understanding of these principles within themselves they are then able to integrating this knowing as a practitioner of the healing arts.  For a more complete understanding of the healing process it is necessary for the practitioner to go through their own journey of self discovery, to “Know Thy Self” in order to clearly and effectively assist in the facilitation of the healing process within another.

 Students will undergo specific processes of education and self enquiry which lead to greater levels of Awareness, personal transformation and the understanding of that which constitutes health and healing and to integrate this into their life.

 Subjects offered within the course will include Herbal Medicine, Nutrition, Biochemistry, Iridology, Homoeopathy, Clinical Practice, Counselling and a Flower Essence elective, giving students an excellent grounding in a range of natural healing modalities. 

 Students will learn the skills necessary to operate and manage a clinical practice with a strong emphasis on patient care, the healing interaction and assisting patients through their own healing as an empowering process of self discovery and education.
